Note to readers. This was written before whatever the strike on Iran was. There will be a few comments on that near the end, but it needs time for things to shake out before drawing any solid conclusions. If anything, it appears to reinforce the observations here. Other than that, let’s see what happens.
It’s been a bit since a Script check. Partly because of limited time but partly because the pace has slowed dramatically as the last one observed. Here’s the link if interested.
Pareidolia is a human tendency to perceive likenesses between things that are unalike. Faces in clouds, music in flowing water, Rorschach tests, etc. are all common examples. It’s deeply hardwired – better to momentarily mistake a stump in the bushes for a threat than miss the threat. Meaning it’s incentivized to some degree, even if unconscious. It’s also a perceptual psychology thing, but the pattern works intellectually and emotionally as well. Clinging to any sign that a cherished belief will come true despite mounting evidence to the contrary.
One advantage of Trump being 2.0 is the benchmarking. We have prior experience with overpromising, underdelivering, and reaching for signs of a non-existent narrative in a House of Lies. It is true that “democracy” or “government” is completely different from what we were taught. Likely the complete inverse. And that makes it easy to buy into to counter-narratives that acknowledge the fakeness. “Boom!” shills make their livilihoods on it. But acknowledging a lie is irrelevant to whether the proposed alternative is any truer. “You’re right, I’m not an eagle. I’m a butterfly!”
As reiterated here all the time, I’m not a predictor. Without inside information, that’s a crap shoot. Informed guesswork passed off as prescience. Readers know how I feel about liars and poseurs – which pretend sagacity is. Sometimes the stakes are sufficiently high that there’s no alternative to making a call. Like a sudden choice between shooting probable poison or fighting. When the family’s life and health are on the line, waiting for more information isn’t an option.
Political commentary is different. I have no influence over what’s happening, we’re surrounded in misinformation, and there’s no consequences for waiting and seeing what happens. Other than having to accept what’s happening. And not sinking into intellectual pareidolia as potential pathways empirically close off.
For example, consider the opening salvo. DOGE came out firing, exposing billions in waste and presenting the real possibility that technological advancements might tame the government leviathan. Where’s DOGE now? The objective reality is that hype and promise grossly outstripped the fruits of its deliverables. Pareidolia enters the chat because I wanted to believe. And the initial impact was so positive it imprinted an emotional reaction. They’re doing it!
If unchecked, that reaction can enter the preconscious base code and influence feeling long after the promise fails. It’s not just the bait-and-switch of not getting what was voted for. It’s feeling like you are when you are not as time ticks by.

It's worth revisiting the basics of The Script. The election was clearly not organic for reasons described in the initial posts. Trump redux was powered through any and all beast media or organic SJW opposition. It was the series of anomalous events that first revealed The Script - from sweeping away lawfare to the least realistic “assassination” attempt I’ve ever seen. Obviously, I have no idea what that was and can’t comment on real projectiles flying around, casualties, etc. But by the fruits, nothing subsequent reflects the usual behavioral changes from a near-death experience. Even the supposedly deficient Secret Service is intact.
Enter the first split. Those who take the narrative at face value and those who don’t. Fake millenarian “he survived death to … !!!” or
Certain observations have turned out to be more significant that others. As is always the case when observing without prejudice. Because important things are often only revealed in time. Hence “by the fruits”. And a big one from the beginning was the Scriptwriters maintaining aspects of the House of Lies. I couldn’t say how much or it or exactly why, beyond the natural desire for narrative controllers to want the keys to that bus. But their communication was emotional NPC manipulation, not clear dialectical strategy. And whatever they were running wasn’t reality-facing the way readers here understand.
When someone shows you who they are, believe them…
Whatever they are, it isn’t nationalist in the way we might define the term. Add 1.0’s material disregard for the average person. Heritage American employment anyone?
The Script was and remains hostile to much of what we might call SJWism or the woke left. But this is more related to its desire for a form of autarkic strength in a collapsing Clown World. Again, not the strong nation we might see or want to see in the policies. A pragmatic program to stave off collapse and possibly revive global power. What techno-luciferians want, not nationalist Americans. Quality of populace for labor strength and social expenditure reduction. Energy and industry (longer term) to reduce strategic dependence. MAHA is an obvious fit here. Likewise purging spiteful mutants, useless eaters, and chaos agents. Common ground on the surface.

But what supporters voted for was a move towards historic norms. Regain control of government from hateful foreign or globalist occupation. Restore a functional constitution-based justice system. Consequences for the endless parade of criminals rubbing their abuse and atrocities in the public’s face. ICE raids are great, but how about legally destroying the quisling trash that keeps employing illegals. We’re at the point were the endless actionless reports of criminality are the same demoralization strategy as the Dems’.
There are some solid Cabinet guys. Kennedy appears to be on his mission. Noem and Gabbard have surprised. Zeldin is quietly working away. Rollins at Agriculture appears adequately competent. But strategic minnow Hegseth is exactly as advertised. And the justice front is a disaster. Ratliff is nearing potted plant-tier. To say nothing of the three stooges (lower case).
Thought experiment. If you were tackling this mess and could choose who you want from the public pool, where would Patel, Bondi and Bongino rank among your picks? Exactly. Note the fruits to date. Then imagine a “justice clock” version of the debt clock that stays at zero as time ticks by.
The Epstein cover-up deserves mention. I can’t stress how little I care personally about him. He’s a distracting symptom, not the causal disease. But NPCs need faces to grasp concepts and he’s a big, ugly, misshapen, famous one. Or the multiple Trumps articulating different and sometimes contradictory messages. Factional conflict within the House of Lies was obvious – the question was how deep did it run. Since everyone is playing along, the answer is not very. Were there serious opposition, exposing the impostor would be an effortless way to blow it open. Failure to do so is concession to higher rules. Complicity.
Normalization of Corruption diagram adapted by the author
The way The Script powered through opposition implied a plan to deal with the corrupted judiciary and congress. But time is real, and it’s now clear that it’s cool with them as they are. Systemic allegiance over reality. Impotent fulminating over unqualified apparatchiks or criminals. This matters more than most of the betrayals because it reinforces the fake legitimacy of the corrupt system. If the fat fugazi kneels to weasels like Boasberg, the system “works”. Real reform efforts would look completely different.
It was also clear that “Trump” wasn’t calling the shots. I was open to the possibility he was a Scriptwriter because of past achievements. But that was before the stream of all-caps retarded social media boomer blather and demented comments on WW2. I now suspect cognitive decline is in play. It’s not as if “senile figurehead” is new on the DC scene, although the governing faction may be. No hard evidence, so leave it as something to track going forward.
Coming back to the split between those who accept the narrative and those who don’t. We’re all aware of the pseudo-alternative sites that carry on as if “President Trump” is waging a shadow war for the fate of [late 20th-century boomer delusion]. The points raised here indicate that’s cartoonish nonsense and the purveyors narrative concierge service. No need to go further – the reality will be clear before long. But when it is, FTS-1 readers need to remember who was legitimating this NPC fraud. Especially if they don’t own up. That’s admitting playing on fruit-fly tier memories. NPC manipulation
Here’s an alternative theory. The narrative continues to ignore reality for boomercon NPC rhetoric until an AI-based control system is in place. And if [nothing works anymore] stops that merry dystopia? It’s not like I haven’t seen systemic collapse since the early 90s.
On the positive side, there’s more clarity on how the Script directs its narrative huffers - something it is masterful at. Note the familiar pattern from 1.0. Big dramatic reveals, then nothing concrete happening, then quiet memory holing, then on to the new reveal where nothing happens. How many indictments so far? How many stories of grotesque corruption and conflict of interest without consequence? Has the national interstate law enforcement agency (FBI) dealt with ANTIFA yet? How about human trafficking? Election fraud? Bueller?
What the reveals do is create emotional echoes in the base code. Positive feelings that [they’re taking down the deep state] while nothing meaningful happens. The impression of a battle without any signs of one. What’s the point of squawking about Miss Lindsey and the Logan Act when nothing comes of it and the NPCs forget in a week? The answer is the feel good glow that a traitor was ... something. I forget now.
The last of the familiar 1.0 shuck and jives is infuriating for FTS-1 and extra legitimation for the House of Lies for FTS-2. Thatr’s when essential structural initiatives are dropped because of some in-game procedural retardery, and then never resumed. Like the Ideocracy-worthy named “Big Beautiful Bill” in Congress being the reason nothing else can happen. The Scriptwriters obviously have coercive powers or they wouldn’t have jacked the system to get this far. They have the compromat and files. That they willingly stand down for [House of Lies is real!] kabuki … well, it looks like they can manage an indictment after all.
The Iran “strike” does crystalize something that’s been floating in the background since the opening salvo bottomed out. Why maintain the House of Lies unless you intend to use the same NPC control system? It’s an early read, but it looks like we are watching the emergence of a new clown world-type metastasis of the House of Lies. Recall that Clown World 1.0 is an extension of fake post-Enlightenment West ontology and epistemology to an inverted and toxic extreme. The Script is rolling back some of the excesses while keeping the substructure. And forming a new extreme false reality bubble extending different 20th century false assumptions. Boomer myths and hyper-ziocuckery for that cohort of NPC window lickers.
That’s sufficient for now. As always, observe, don’t project. The one thing mindlessly clinging to negativity has in common with mindlessly clinging to positivity is mindlessness. Never be that. But at this point, the evidence suggests The Script’s commitment to the House of Lies is existential. To be fair, shallow factional housekeeping is an improvement. But it’s not the structural change that’s coming one way or the other. For that, it looks like we’ll have to wait for [the hard way].
Outstanding update! I was just explaining this as my POV the other night but I struggled getting my point across. Primarily because I've mostly checked out of the narrative/The Script™ and just focused on the immediacy and reality of local meatspace. But it always drags us back in, doesn't it.
