Third Body Problems

Dividing one of functionally two species refines & muddies. That’s more widely applicable

This post is the second part of the previous one. But before jumping in, start with some citation housekeeping.

The last post divided the FTS-2 or NPC type to better account for how they react to screen messaging. The problem is that I used terms that aren’t my own and didn’t source them. The posts aren’t following the books closely or building directly on them, but are consistent with the original concepts. Enough that readers interested in looking further will find the them worthwhile.

Cuckservative and SJW came from books written in the previous decade by Vox Day, a difficult figure to concisely summarize. A continuum from [humble consumer activist] → [Supreme Dark Lord] comes closest. Among other things, he’s proven to be an extreme FTS-1 with a gift for identifying extra-narrative social phenomena. Realities that the House of Lies hides or even exploits. Invaluable for a general pattern guy like myself. Can’t see how things fit together until you know what they are.

Anyhow, Part One wrapped with a three way distinction between the FTS-1 category and two types of FTS-2 mentioned above. Here’s the link.

Part two is a bit different. Less tight. Partly because posting has been so slow and it’s better to put up something open to think about than the void. And because the third element really does blow open simplistic thought structures. There’s a reason binaries are so popular despite limited applicability. Easy contrasts. Compare [this side/that side] vs. [over here/over there/in-between]. A few practical considerations make more sense than comprehensive analysis here. And something more like a meandering conversation as a peace offering for spotty posting.

Start from the simple binary. FTS-1 and FTS-2. The Can/Can’t Learn from Information binary includes how beliefs are formed.

Reality-facers need credible evidence and-or logical consistency. [Objective criteria] by any standard definition. Opinions change with new information or insights, but basic truths don’t. Narrative-huffers respond emotionally to informationless communication transmitted through screens. Words that get believed - that ring true - are the ones that feel best. Pure subjective indulgence - evidence or logic never even comes up. They do name drop things we consider objective and verifiable like “the data” or “the moral high ground”. But they’re really just reflections of feelings about screens.

FTS-1 and 2 beliefs are formed in opposite because narrative-huffers invert subjectivity and objectivity. Inversion of reality being a reliable moral bellweather. A natural binary.

Consider what proved as big an indicator of NPCs as “perfidious Albion” is for Gammas. There’s ironic concern with appearing correct. But correct as in lining up with the current narrative, not objective reality. Blind trust is the tell. There’s no understanding of what the Scientific Method is, let alone an ability to check or learn anything. Blatant contradictions on their screens don’t even register. Talking past. How is communication possible when “fact” and “opinion” mean the opposite to each?

Reality-facing communication distinguishes objective from subjective and processes accordingly. NPC types don’t have the stable sense of reality to do that. Whatever they’re uptaking hardest subjectively and emotionally right now is what’s realest. Where the Cuck and SJW sub-categories differ is how the lies direct them.

By the fruits, Cucks don’t have conscious driving ideology. There’s emotional preference for vague affluent surburbia and high trust living. But zero grasp of what that takes to maintain. None of their “convictions” matter enough to do anything about. Beyond some grumbling on the internet.

Real beliefs are motivating, whether or not they’re true. They show. They’re the values in “value judgments”. Unlike impotent Cucks, believers are hostile to things opposing what is true or essential to them. FTS-1 and SJW ideologs alike. I’m not shooting poison or sponsoring degeneracy, the mosque isn’t renting space to a sausage cart, AA isn’t endorsing a line of whisky, the motivated environmental steward isn’t supporting globalism, the aesthete shuns the vulgar, etc. The observer knows beliefs are real when they manifest in opinion or especially action.

Splitting FTS-2 leads to three-body complications with two different forms of NPC problem. The SJW is obvious. A demented fifth column of atavists dedicated to destroying the very socio-culture they rely on. The Cuck version is more insidious. But just as based on inverting virtue into promotion of evil. Consider how smugly Cucks have prided themselves for tolerating the most toxic, anti-human, perspectives. Despite claiming to abhor them themselves. Add hypocrisy to apathy.

And it’s not Voltaire.

Imagine a visitor from another world being told our noblest accomplishment as a society is to give any form of degeneracy and evil access to the public. Including defending infinity fiat support for berserk ideologies aimed at destroying civilization. Whilst !Voltaire defends to the death the termites, but only rhetorically. Because anything else requires doing something. And that takes real beliefs that motivate. “Free speech” lets conservatives virtue signal over an abstract impossibility while ensuring beast degeneration is never rolled back to a saner state.

3 gets more complex because it expands the range of relationships. Going from linear to planar. Not hard to see why forcing binary interpretations preorder failure. This graphic shows an easy nested fit within a reality we can see.

Seems simple enough. Three levels corresponding with three types. NPCs subdivided in the last two.

• A blue reality where FTS-1 tells the difference between objective and subjective. Physical and manmade. And shows that objective reality comes with responsibilities and obligations. Desirable material things like anti-fragility, relative autonomy, organic networks, etc. take initiative and effort. How much depends on who and where you are, but north of [couch, screen, and skip the dishes].

• A black House of Lies that readers know on sight. What “principled” conservatives treat as real.

• Red specifics. Whatever things are triggering the far left at present. They churn around within the House of Lies.

Breaking it down shows how the third term complicates tidy binary arrangements.

And shows not all huffing is the same.

The SJW type has a simplistic emotions that screens direct and weaponize into a temporary facsimile of reality-facing conviction. The Cuck type doesn’t. Circling back to the misaligned communication breakdown from the last post. The House of Lies is all fake. But only some denizens see the degenerative edge of Clown inversion as “morality”. As in [decolonizing the weather] or some such as an existential-tier moral imperative. The others cluck about conservative voices on campus or media. Because they can’t imagine morality isn’t opinion to the morally-driven, whether objective or delusional. Because they aren’t outraged morally unless it’s a screen trigger.

But go deeper and the Cuck does have a kind of inverted morality. It’s just subtle, and not something they’d ever do anything to support. Because they also confuse the manmade and subjective with objective reality. Just at a different level. The whole construct, not specific figments.

Consider genetic self-poisoning. FTS-1 objective morality sees a horrifying fraud. SJW inverse morality sees the fraud as horrifyingly real and is stimulated by the thought of force poisoning kids. The Cuck doesn’t really care and finds the “extremes” distasteful, but free choices. To be defended to the death. Rhetorically.

At least until the screens blow elsewhere. It’s why there is no coherent conservative ideology - just changing postures over easy materialist consumption. The original my body, my choice follows the same pattern. FTS-1 sees infanticide as self-evidently immoral. The SJW inverse trusts the science and infanticide kind of feels right. The Cuck finds extremes distasteful and stands with !Voltaire. At least until the Freedom! rhetoric conditions acceptance until pyramid temples can reopen.

This apathy has a common denominator. Acceptance of House of Lies as reality on a reflex assumption level. Late modern life as given. A priori in philosophical terms. The way of the world in poetic ones. Natural law if it originated via screen. Ideological apathy is a superior posture because true wisdom reveals effort is existentially unneeded. Wasteful. The magical global exploitation machine that creates prosperity without productivity by magic just magically occurs in perpetuity. Ladies and gentlemen, conservative philosophy …

Seriously. Discuss systemic issues with a boomercon. And they pretty much epitomize mainstream Cuckservatism. The Script posts noticed their finally-diminishing lock on the discourse. Though their price tag is incalculable.

That’s the dance of projected, incompatible frames of reference. The ideologue really believes their ideology, to the point of preferring it to the status quo. The cuck has no actual beliefs other than the familiar easy comfort and tepid fetish satisfaction that is the status quo. So any ideological position is merely a belief or opinion as good as any other. Whether mild conservatism or radical atavism.

Consider the Clown World dialog about resistance and so forth. Cucks are shocked that the NPCs on the left care more about their pseudo-religions than the law. Despite decades of pedestaling civil disobedience on screens. Not because they’re inherently ethical. Ethical considerations require information processing. Because keeping their heads down and following rules - no matter how ridiculous or degrading - is how they live in the House of Lies. Hence their venom for those who don’t. SJW and FTS-1.

That’s good for now. Binary formations are enduring because they’re naturally clear and simple. Either universal distinction or it collapses. But they’re also very limited. And limiting, given that tendency to confuse terms and frames for the things they represent. A third term improves flexibility but at the cost of that simple clarity. More accurate, but with more responsibility for discernment as possibilities multiply. Complexity brings the possibility of more complex harmonies. The stuff of refined beauty. And fuller understanding. Something to consider when confronted with NPCs squabbling over the screens.
