Lies have an even more simple cause: dealing with truth would destroy them.

Teaching Aristotle, while being a leftist, and actually getting your students to read him, would destroy you. Therefore never bring it up. Any major work would have the same effect.

My favorite white pill is still Plato's Republic book 8 on government; the secularist has no counter to his critique of lower forms of government and people, besides total subjective preference. Then you can see it. The House of Lies is subjective preference writ large.

Although Clown World is trying, professional sports (and perhaps more specifically youth sports) is just about the last meritocratic arena we have left to engage/enjoy. Worthy topic.

I feel you on the "poisoned language" angle that comes with Lies Intellgensia™. The jargon and blather are truly endless. But from one internet rando to another, regarding metaphysics...have you read Judge Thomas Toward's "Creative Process and the Individual?" Published 1910. Refreshingly lacks adherence to the "discourse" and shares your logical investigation into levels of reality. Maybe it's your cup of tea.

I haven’t seen that before. I’ll read it. This isn’t the first mass memory holing.

Post-Enlightenment materialism was self-crippling. Let’s ignore ontologically necessary priors by acting like they’re emergent properties on no grounds at all. Then burn infinity productive bandwidth building massive jenga towers of pointless discourse for centuries. Add restoring linguistic fullness to the list. Agree on the sports.
