I was reminded recently about the spin off series from the Bradley Cooper film Limitless, where Cooper's character had been running for office in one episode, and the NZT he was on allowed him to not only notice the sniper about to fire at him, but gave him time to decide how successful the sniper should be in order to get the best headline. He chose to get non-fatally wounded so he could use the incident to promote himself further. The political events of the past week read similarly, and after Trump failed to cross the Rubicon in 2020 my curiosity had been whether or not he was actually bought. As things stand, I have my inclination, but I'm also too far outside the content to know whether it matters.

I misread your subtitle as "a fundemental desire for an inorganic reality", but maybe I'm on to something! Perhaps the Script is a manifestation of a fundemental desire to play God and shape reality as we want it; the temptation the Serpent offered to Eve, and that Satan offered Jesus in the desert.

There is definitely something there. I do think it’s metaphysical at the core. It fades from view the way things that straddle material and abstract realities do. Most people want to be led. Goes back to kings in the Bible. But they don’t want to admit it. Opening a dishonesty gap between posture and desire that is manipulable.

I’m assuming the Script is a tactical part of a meta long-term strategic Script that goes back before 2016 or even 2001.

“ Vapid materialism with no objective foundation leading exactly to the present.”

Pithy. I’m stealing this.

Create anything good and organic is the key. Start with a handful of people and build.

It will have its own energy.

One then becomes better at seeing all the inorganic around. Being mostly unplugged makes recent events feel a lot more like wrestling.

" Which flavor of Enlightenment do we get today?"

Time to plant tomatoes, learn to carve, write a book, and learn an old analogue boardgame.

"This isn’t blackpilling, it’s recognizing reality."

"The whitepill is to abandon hope in whatever figments the House of Lies spits out and take moral and personal responsibility for life, family, and culture."

Somehow this describes my entire adult life. Bravo.

"The Scriptwriters don’t want organic Western nationalistic culture."

A tremendously important summation. Applicable to all time periods and oppressive power structures. "Organic" is that which cannot be easily controlled and rendered predictable.

You’re wise. A lot of people found the path before I did. It makes watching the giant wheezing satanic calliope go over the cliff a lot less traumatic.

It's been a double-edged sword. Not many people can tolerate someone dispassionately pointing out the cracks in reality. However, watching people go through trauma I've long since passed is its own reward. The Band you got playing here is my kind of music.

I long ago learned to zip my lip and perfect the cute outfit+vapid expression+slow blinking that signals "ditzy girl with nary a thought in her head". Occasionally I ask a question that gets the group thinking, but it's pointless to try to tell people things they're 10 to 15 years away from being ready to hear. Some days it's exhausting but High Bimbosis is a life skill sometimes.

That works if it’s an option. Hearing people bleating as if this terms of this political kabuki correlate to real outcomes has reached throbbing temple vein tier irritation. Hence the recent detachment.

Exactly. Bimbos is a shield against people yapping to me about whatever the Current Thing (tm) is. If they persist I say something true but outrageous, such as espousing support for a return to absolute monarchy. If that doesn't work I escalate my vocabulary until I've dragged them headlong into the communication gap. The resulting cognitive dissonance vapour locks their brain and they shut up, leaving me to get on with my day.

Just heard Owen Benjamin (ep. 1996 How to Think, about 1h 10m in) say the story of Satan IS the story of the Gamma male. If correct, the desire for inorganic reality (i.e. the desire to shape reality to be what I want it to be, instead of obeying God's law/reality) goes back a long way and is tied to obedience, humility.

Satan is the desire over reality prototype. It all follows. It’s a choice. Align with the ontological nature of reality or do what thou wilt. The Gamma wants to deny reality but lacks the ability to do so.

In my experience, Owen Benjamin has a knack for real insight. He’s not systematic, which I think throws some people off. And as we know, the Gammas and fruit flies freak out at hard truth. But he was right on covid from the jump and is the only public person I know who is as rationally skeptical of the whole political theater as I am.
